Bryce Chevalier 5/13/11 Cultural Vibration My cultural vibrations report will provide information that I have discovered about my musical instrument. The report will give interesting information about the design, the comparisons to older instruments and the traditions important to my creation. If you look closely you can see that my bucket drum is both a functioning musical instrument and cultural artifact it is a musical instrument because it can be hit and can keep a beat also a rhythm. Further more it is a cultural artifact because there are pictures and words and symbols that relate to my culture. I designed a musical Instrument that is both a cultural artifact and a functional instrument. Yes it does contain specific elements like the Apple logo and Tractor Trailer Truck. Both of my instruments are similar because they where both made by people. They are both different because one is used for hunting and communication. Also they are both made different one is made out of wood and the other is made out of plastic. My bucket drum can be used as part of my cultural experience. My instrument will be played at a concert because concerts are very popular. I will play eight times. My costume is Michael Jackson with a black leather jacket because my group had to pick a famous pop star. That is How my report gives information on my bucket drums design , comparison and its traditions.
